Hehe I'm learning this piece called: "Studies for the Left Hand 24" by
Carl Czerny, Op 718,Book I
I'm still on the first bar...and I think I'll stay there for some more weeks...my goal is to improve left hand. Take a look at the partiture...its easy to find on the web.

Re: What songs are you currently learning?
Hi all,
I am new here, but I have been lurking and getting ideas from the Forum, and the Lessons.
A couple of years ago I began playing again - hadn't played in over 30 years. I love to play piano, and have a lot to learn yet!
Right now I am working on a duet with my daughter, Ave Maria. She plays alto sax. I've really had to work with the metronome, since we are playing together. It is a beautiful piece. My daughter plays in the liturgical band at school, so is used to playing with others, but I am not! We hope to have it polished enough to perform for a special celebration at the end of February.
Ramaral, I want to improve my left hand, so I will check on the piece you are using.
Andrea

Minuet in G by Mozart.
It seems simple enough as the first song to kick off my... fourth? ... attempt at learning to play the piano.

I'm currently composing something and I'm at least trying to learn 2 rags of Joplin. With my 3 months behind me, it's a bit hard but I manage to play them well

Re: What songs are you currently learning?
I'm trying to learn the "Graceful Ghost" rag from one of George Winston's albums (by ear). It's pretty unimpressive at the moment considering I can only play bits and pieces of the melody with one hand.

Re: What songs are you currently learning?
I havent progressed much on the "Elfen Lied - Lilium", still only 24 out of 94 bars.
Final Fantasy 7 - Main Theme, I'm currently at 14 of 57 bars.
Those are the two I really want to get down, just havent had time, and practicing my improvisation skills, and finished my first piano composition, working on the second part of this, so first movement is done, working on second.
And i'm playing around with orchestra pieces, short stuff, I made this little "orchestra" tune, funny enough it turned out like a tv show theme:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/htqq9a
Today I just memorized the whole piano intro of Dimmu Borgir - Alt Lys Er Svunnet Hen, in a few days when I get it 100% i'll upload it, might upload a video to actually ^_^:

First half of Fur Elise, treble only for now, I try to do the base too and I mess it up completely (I am sure my fingering is all wrong too... But really, I never thought I would ever dare to do even that little!)
Hey... I haven't even taken lesson #6 yet!

Don't worry it's not that hard you'll get speed with practicing, just try to memorize all the notes and gradually you will get faster and faster
