Maybe not the song, but the arrangement... hehe
Though you could have refined it a bit... The left hand is "disappointingly written"

Who knows Why refine it? I think its a nice grade one piece!^^
I only did it to test my blue-screen, nothing more!
But for arguments sake, I think we are different on left-hand styles, if there is a way of putting it. hehe
I think more of the music, and how different things do different things for the music. Less can sometimes be more, and I feel that more left hand in this subtle piece could weaken the calm and nostalgic feeling^^ Im not saying it would sound bad, but It would change the musical deliverance, and then the feeling would be something different
Re: Thomas's Performances - NEW Liszt Moments Musicaux D.01 - Page 39
however the left hand - I liked you playing it! =)

Re: Thomas's Performances - NEW Liszt Moments Musicaux D.01 - Page 39
Who cares if it was just chords and not some fancy movment in the left? It's a christmas song, it'll sound good anyway ^_^
I learned myself "We wish you a merry xmas" earlier this week. The left hand is pretty much chords + some patterns, but wanted to learn something quick and easy and something not to complicated considering i'll only play this kind of music in desember
Fancy recording on its way
I hoped I would manage to finish and record Oh Silent Night, but Im so busy dong all sorts of stuff I dont have time for more complicated pieces right now. Next year maybe
Anyone noticed Thomandy is the only one playing nice xmas pieces for us? Andrew should play somepieces, i'm sure he has practiced some xmas songs when he was a child.

Good luck on your recording^^

One of the Themes from Home Alone, that old Christmas Classic with Macaulay Culkin:)
Its one of my most Nostalgic Films, so I hope you enjoy my Arrangement of this great piece
I use a blue screen in this video, and what you see is my house early in the morning on the 18th.
I planned to upload this on the 18 of December, which was my Birthday, but I managed to do a huge
mistake when recording, which I didn't notice before 3hours had gone by and I was adding the lyrics.. I had forgotten to play one of the 10sec repeats ........ So, a little late, but its here

Nice performance, that song is kinda like a "real" xmas song, because you've probably heard it even if you havent seen the movie. I got eye catharr right before xmas, great, because I dont have any glasses and I cant use my contacts. I'm basically blind, using for the first time ever microsofts inbuildt magnifier ^_^
Gotta love John Williams's works

Glad you liked it! Yeah, its one of the great xmas feel songs I know of!^^
I actually use 2 "Pledd" .. blue ones that I sowed together, and then I sowed it onto a chain so I can just hang it behind my piano and stretch it out when Im filming. And I just use a free script for Movie Maker, I found on youtube that is great enough to do the work descent:)
