what brand piano do you have
Re: what brand piano do have
My mom wants Yamaha so she directly bought it. She only wants the color.
Re: what brand piano do have
Ohh! this was a good topic Idea.
I have a Yamaha, but I'd also be interested in a Kawai one day.

Yeah
When I decided to buy a Piano, all I wanted was a Yamaha.
It was sort of the only brand I knew about, and Most of the Youtubevideos I had seen then where made with YamahaPianos
Re: what brand piano do have
Yea, if yamaha ever went out of business. piano players all around the world would cry...and global warming wouldn't be the cause of rising salty water....

Mother's are like that Yamaha's aren't bad though. It's better than getting a crappy unheard of brand name that is barely playable right?
Re: what brand piano do have

I have an J. Gerstenberger. It's a Polish piano I hadn't heard from untill I bought it. It was the cheapest upright the local music store had for sale and I thought it was really pretty.
I also have an Yamaha PSR-195 which isn't much of piano actually just a crappy keyboard.

Re: what brand piano do have
My digital piano is a Casio and I kinda regret it. The sounds is really good, but it's the hammer touch who is so-so.

Ah =) Yeah, Im very happy with my piano
Its not only weighted keys, but they are copies of a grand where the keys are heavier the lower you go, And the dynamics are adjusted in 3 different grades which makes it a lot more realistic considering the touch and dynamicitality But it was about 3000bucks last year. Probably less expensive now?!
But if you are going for a medium pricey digital piano, my Yamaha CLP 240 is VERY recommendable. There are of course more expensive ones, and cheaper ones but this is/was right in between all the CLPs. There where 9 i think**, and this is the 5th in line. So 4cheaper/poorer ones and 4more expensive/better ones
It was actually the bestseller in Norway last year Cause you get a lot for your money, the more up you go, you get less pr dollar and the more you go down more you sort of have to pay for less !quality!: Quality vs Price
But im not updated on this years new models ect though
Just found out: This year they are called CLP 340 . not 240... The changes are MINIMAL, and the price has gone up(3500bucks) - So you might wanna look for good offers on last years editions - Might get them for 1500 bucks +/-
Re: what brand piano do have
Well thanks for making me want it more now ^_^. And yeah that new model looks pretty good.Thomandy wrote:Marnex wrote:I have a Yamaha PSR 225.....yeah it's small. Re: what brand piano do have
Before you go buy a Yamaha, you should consider this piano:
ftp://ftp.roland.co.uk/Videos/V-Piano/videos.html
Yes, it's the V(ictorCS)-piano, and I do believe that this might be my next if I move to a place where I cant use a real piano ^_^
