What's your favorite way to relax?
(Poll) What's your favorite way to relax
My favorite way to relax is probably to either play a soft chopin nocturne on the piano , or to just sleep , but if i'm pissed off and i need to cool down, going for a walk is the best for me ^_^
Re: (Poll) What's your favorite way to relax
i am a movie-aholic. I usually watch AT LEAST a movie a day... i know that is bad. What can i say, i love movies.

Re: (Poll) What's your favorite way to relax
Yeah my favorite way to relax would have to be playing piano for myself before that or after that a nice walk in the park or woods, so I can think of what have I just learned or what will I learn next.

I voted listening to music because it has the best ratio time/impact. I can cheer up in a few minutes when listening to a good tune, no matter how blue I feel Also a good comedy can do the trick and ofc the irreplaceable walk in the nature that goes without saying

Yea! music can change someone's mood very quickly! I spend about an hour a day listening to music, so I can think and just relax, let my mind sort things out

Laying on the beach, most definitally! I love just laying around. If singing was an option I'd pick it!

I could totally see you laying on the beach, that's exactly what you'd do. AND then you'd roll over on your back and be like, can you massage my shoulders please? (with a sweet innnocent look) then whoever was with you would give a big sigh and go... "alright "
I'm just kidding but i know how you love the sun
Re: (Poll) What's your favorite way to relax
Yes, and in 8 days I'll be able to do exactly that! Lay in the sun and make Bria massage my shoulders. I need a guy to do that! But yes, it sounds great to me ^^Admin Andrew wrote:Carly wrote:Laying on the beach, most definitally! I love just laying around. If singing was an option I'd pick it!

Poor bria, I say that because I know you won't be massaging her back, I hope you at least pay her alittle for her troubles! Yea You could probably convince one of the local guys at the beach to massage you, trick him into thinking he might get somewhere with you and then randomly leave you're so cruel like that
Re: (Poll) What's your favorite way to relax
Pfft, pay her for her troubles! I'm brining her to Mexico, aren't I? And I don't want them massaging my back! Those latino men!

Re: (Poll) What's your favorite way to relax
Probably some combination of the first four.
Although I have to say that playing something soft on the piano does relax me quite a bit, especially after a tiring day at work.

Re: (Poll) What's your favorite way to relax
I would love to get to the part when piano is relaxing... for me it is only relaxing if I am listening to classicals. But I guess I just need to get to a certain level... Right now I m concentrating so hard that after 30 minutes of practicing I need to stop because my brain just seems like stoping.
I answered listening to the music... although sometimes a big sleep helps too ( luckily I dont need to listen to my own snoring )
There is a great way for me to unwind.... but it is very occasional...
when it is raining... go outside... take extra big breaths... and if it is a summer rain just stand there and enjoy till complete soaking.
It feels like borning again, with sins washed away...

I watch movies, I'm addicted to High Definition, so I bought myself a 24" 1920x1200 monitor, I usually watch atleast 1 movie or episode ( Lost etc. ).
You can just relax and watch all these action scenes, and whatever...
I'm amazed over the amount of background music there is in a single movie, it's usually bg-music almost all the time...

mmmmmmmmmm *drool* high definition......
Yes i would LOVE that monitor! I've got 2 monitors actually, a 19" LCD (1280 by 1024) {nothing special I know} and also a 21" widescreen LCD 1680 by 1050.
I was wanting to get a laptop, but the website cost me enough to set me back for a bit. So i'll just have to wait. ^_^ but it's all good since people are using it! If no one logged on then i would be heart broken

Listening to music...I agree with Andrew that music can change someone's mood very quickly! I spend about 2 hours a day listening to music.
I love music and I use it as a tool to assist me with relaxation, concentration and focus.

Sleep! My magical remedy to everything! If I have a headache, I sleep it off. If there is nothing that I can do in the moment, I'll sleep 'til later. Even when I'm on a deadline on Art coursework and I'm stuck, I'll take a nap. It calms you down, makes you more active and dreams fuel the imagination! >_<

I agree, sleep is pretty darn good!

Why do we waste 7-8 hours at nothing? Who invented sleep?

well I only think sleep would be a waste if we had "instant regeneration" pills
