How to practice : counterpoint
Hi,
I really love Bach fugues but they really are out of my reach. According to Andrew's songs list, I am somewhere between level 3 and level 4 (I play Bach's minuet in D minor and I am currently learning Czerny's Étude 83 op 599).
Do you know some easy fugues or some pieces that would introduce counterpoint to me ?
Do you think I could manage to play some Bach's Inventions with my level ?
If you also have any ideas on which evercises are useful for counterpoint, please let me know.
Sorry if this is a repost.

Re: How to practice : counterpoint
The counterpoint is part of music theory. And it's used for composing polyphonic music, by linking two or more voices. Each voice has its own melody, and linked sound wonderful, that is harmonized. To study counterpoint, you need to know well... harmony. And to study harmony need to be an expert in Solfeo. Your question is weird
