It makes me happy when I need to be happy, it makes me sad when I need to be sad and it makes my whole body quiver and shake and bounce when it gets too loud and feels too good!

Yeah, thats kinda what music does for me!!! sunny

Good question. Personally, I find music helps me to 'lose myself'. If something is troubling me or if I'm just feeling jaded and tired of everyday stuff, I can start to do scales or watch one of Andrew's lessons and I leave all the humdrum stuff behind for a while. It helps to clear my mind. It helps me to realise that there are many fulfilling creative possibilities out there. I suppose it fills me with some optimism.

I think one of the things that has gotten me so addicted to piano is the "solving" of new pieces. That is, learning how to memorize and play them, and sort of solving each piece like it was a puzzle. And the reward for solving each puzzle is being able to make the music come out of it! Very Happy
