My fav music
Ill post all my fav music that I am learning right now or iam starting to learn. Itll mostly be just a midi [ becouse i am learning using free Synthesia software. If u really need a sheet music download synthesia and use the show sheet music option or google for Sibelius to extrack and/or print sheet music from midi files, but ill post any sheets that i find. Be advised that i am not taking any credit for the midi files becouse i am not their author. All materials present in this thread are products of their respective owners, and i nor the forum administration take any responsibility for its unproper use. (R)
Ps. If u are a total novice, u should rather watch Andrew lessons first. I am not a teacher, i am a student and i propobly wont be able to help u if u need any (with fingering, hand techiques etc).
Yes, there will be more updates to this thread as i progress with learning U can stick with me if u like my music taste;)

1. He's A pirate [advanced]
Most of u may heard this music in the Pirates of the carribean movie, but its not the original.
The real author of this pice is Yoko Shimomura - He's a Pirate, created for Kingdom Hearts rpg game and therefore present in Kingdom Hearts II Original Soundtrack [Disc 2]. The one in the Pirates movie is a little bit different. Ps. There is nowhere to find the midi of the original version so I posted the 1 from Pirates movie.
- Original
- Midi file
- Youtube preview [ synthesia ]
Ps for beginner players. This music looks like definitly not for beginners, and its not only the look . . . i can say its pretty hard but i am a beginner i dont even know the chords and yet i learned the half of it already [ the half = most of the right hand ]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
2. Elfen Lied - Lilium [not for total beginners, but still slow and easy]
Its a music from Elfen Lied Anime Intro, and its main theme. Never heard of "elfen lied" ? This is the most famous and most avarded sci-fi tragedy anime ever created. Awarded for its climat, storyline and music. If u r anime fan, and u didnt saw this yet, what the heaven are u waiting for?!? If u dont like/know anime at all, u shouldnt watch/start with this becouse it might really mess up with ur head. And its pretty bloody ;P
- Lilium theme Original and Moka Version
- Midi file
- Sheet music
- Synthesia preview [ a little harder than in my midi ]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.(bleach) Rolling Star - Yui [ L= Advanced, R= Beginner]
YUI (born March 26, 1987 in Fukuoka, Japan), is a japanese singer-songwriter and actress. She sings and plays acoustic guitar, and writes her own songs, and apart from playing acoustic guitar, she also likes watching movies, reading books, and playing badminton. Her third single "LIFE" was the fifth ending theme for BLEACH, a popular Japanese anime series, which has brought her some international fame.
- Bleach Version
- Midi file
- Sheet music
- Piano preview [srry no synthesia here ;( ]

4. (bleach) Alones [L=Advanced , R=Beginner]
Its the 6th opening of the Bleach anime, this time brought by Aqua Timez.
- Bleach version
- Midi (piano) and sheet music
- Midi Full version and sheet music
- Piano preview [ srry no synthesia again, but it looks easier that way ;P ]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
5. (K-ON!) Tsubasa o kudasai. [ L/R = Beginner ] ~with special dedication to aendym
K-ON! is anime about 5 high school students: Mio, Ritsu, Mugi, Yui, Azusa [Azu~nian FTW] that started a rock band during their " light music club " activities. I recommend this anime for every 1 that does not puke-on-sight of the anime ;P
Re: My fav music
lol. . . . .then do just right hand . .. . its usually easy . . .mayby not " boring to death easy" but not hard at all, and if u use synthesia ull learn faster.
[not that i take any credit for advertising this program, its just i learned playing a long time ago and it was like " annoying, horrible, boring, stupid" etc, now when i use synthesia its fast and enjoyable ]
Btw if u say soo, ill add some "apprentice" music, and the piece that my friend learned [and he didnt ever played piano before] so it should be easy for u ;)And becouse of it i would like to ask u, what makes a pices ^ like that look difficult to you ? i mean what r u having problem with ? left hand ? coordination ? or hymm dont know something like playing more than 2 notes at the same time [ with one hand] ? Not that ill choose music especially 4 you but ill have that in mind
Re: My fav music
He's a Pirate is actually composed for the movie POTC by Klaus Badelt ( with help from a bunch of other known composers ). Since Kingdom Hearts is a Square Enix/Disney merged game, it got soundtracks from both worlds. Yoko's version isnt the original, but he is the creator of the new mix you hear in the game.
Elfen Lied rocks, so does Rolling Star.... But I think you forgot one:
Re: My fav music
Hey everlasting...
thanks for your willing to help me with some pieces... I really appreciate it.
Unfortunately the only reason why things look or sound difficult to me is because I have so less time to study them that I always think I might need ages to get it. =) I play ca. 3 times a day but never have more time then 20-30 minutes. That is just long enough to play a couple of scales up and down (which I am really trying to keep up for the technique) then play all the short pieces Ive learned so far and like enough to play them everyday and then try 2 - 4 bars of a new piece... Plus Im no good at multi-tasking.... I can only study one piece at a time!! And then I play that until I am finally at least a bit comfortable with it =)
All in all its like I feel like Ive been run over by a bulldozer anytime I hear a new piece! =)
