Pedal pusher
Hello,
I am enjoying the lessons and haven't seen them all yet but am battling through so maybe you actually have covered this topic already. If so, ignore me.
For whatever reason I have trouble with using the sustain pedal when playing music. I see the pedal timing on sheet music and try to follow it but the music always sounds so awful when i do. Maybe I don't understand it properly? I usually default to just keeping my foot on the pedal for the whole piece but it just doesn't sound very professional. I have searched the interwebs via google and youtube for a pedal guide but am left unsatisfied. I was thinking that maybe other people might have similar problems and it could make a good lesson?
Thanks for the videos.

Re: Pedal pusher
I also use an electric piano but mine has a pedal. I thought that the video was good but i still have questions such as the pedal symbols on sheet music, when to press and release etc

Re: Pedal pusher
Isn`t there a pedal sign on the sheet when to use it something like Ped. and a star looking sign when to stop using it? I am sorry If I am wrong (Only played one song on the keyboard of a friend till now xD)

You aren't wrong
Re: Pedal pusher
I have seen the Ped symbol on some sheets but following them exactly doesn't sound very good at all. I don't think it's as simple as pressing and ending when it says. Maybe when it ends is the last note that should be held but the pedal itself doesn't necessarily come up yet?
