Where Does the Pedal Go?
I'm on a keyboard with a separate sustain pedal and was wondering where exactly I should put it. That is, where is this pedal on a real piano usually in relation to the keys, how far back is it, etc?
Re: Where Does the Pedal Go?
Middel of the piano, a little behind the keys cind of. It starts sort of at the same place as the keys. Its not important to get it 100% But this image can help you! (Btw: Its a piano like mine =)))

Hehe, now you know! Its suposed to simulate a piano to the full. This is a 2500$ piano. The least I would demand is Pedals.
Or else only Bachs songs would sound good on one

Its no big deal. I never use my middelpedal. Some pianos sond got all pedals. Older ones only got one, and really old ones didnt have any hehe The damperpedal is the most important one! And the softpedal is nice for some songs.
My middle pedal is cind of like the damperpedal, but it only works on a kay that is held down. So I hit C, then when I hold that one down, I press the pedal and the C sound waves longer AND then I can play other key and the pedal dosnt affect the sound at all!! As for the damperpedal, it affects ALL keys if it is held down!
