I'm using Movie Maker, too (version 6), and it sounds good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uFsjVc0ztI

I publish it for "local computer" and "maximum quality for playback on local computer" (don't know the exact wording, because I'm using the German edition). And I record the audio independently of the video as WAV format with 48 kHZ, 24 bit with my new optical digital input equipment, set the audio of the video to silence and add the recorded audio as WAV. Adding it as WAV is important, because adding it as MP3 would result in one more compression/uncompression steps: original -> compresed to MP3 -> uncompressed in MM -> compressed for WMV format -> uncompressed at Youtube -> compressed again for FLV format at Youtube.

BTW: your MP3 file sounds (and looks in Audacity) like mono. If you are using a SB sound card with "flexi" input (the same input for mic and line-in) like I did when I recorded it analog, this was tricky, because you have to switch it in the "Creative Console Starter" from mic to line-in. Otherwise there will be much noise because of impedance mismatch and only mono.

Yeah, I got the tips on the WAV once before, and I tried to ad the VAW but the MovieMaker refused it saying I need a codec installed, but nothing about what codec, and I cant find the right one Razz

Im not the best at these types of things like SB sound card and flexi dosnt mean anything to me, hehe Smile
And how to switch it in th CCS I have no idea how to as well Razz

But yeah, stereo and great audio would be nice to get, but still Im clueless Smile It must be said that I only got a monocable, I think. Its only attached to one output, but Its just that I like the sound I had when I had the Sony Vegas Trail Smile

Nice performance of the Zelda piece! (maybe one wrong note at 1:05)

Regarding the connector: There are many possible problems. I've tried to write a small howto for non-technicans, hope this helps other YouTube performers, too Smile

http://www.frank-buss.de/music/recording.html

Feel free to post corrections, e.g. sometimes my English grammar and spelling is not good, wording for English Windows versions or errors in the article, or ask questions if I should write more detailed about some things in the article.

Maybe this would be a useful sticky posting in the "Synthesizers & Other Music Technology" section. I've added some pictures and descriptions of connectors, screenshots and links of programs and settings, and described the workflow how to produce a high quality YouTube video.

Hehe, you wrote 1:05, not so hard to not find what you mean then^^
...not everybody likes it? I didnt write the piece Razz hehe
There are that feel to the whole original piece if you listen closely Wink Its what pushes it forward in that exiting way and not this straight forward, but with some added life!^^

Wow really nice. It is really a great Improvisation ^^. You should write some pieces ^^ So the people will be able to play it by themselves and yeah the ending is a little bit strange(meaning the ??? part), at least for my taste, but the rest is really great

Well Smile Its mostly a joke at the end, after I hit that Bchord I messed it up on purpoe for the fun of it since the improv was "ruined" anyways Wink I have written many pieces Smile Almost 15pieces, and Im happy with about 4-5 of them today Smile
