Re: Download Lessons
Hmm. Oh, I have everything downloaded except for the demo.wav. It's because somethings wrong with the torrent so it won't download it from your computer. But I'm still seeding the torrent. It doesn't show that there are any seeders because I have to have completed the download to be a seeder, but I'm still uploading the lessons to everyone's computers. Currently, 2 of 4 peers are downloading off my computer.
Oh and I'm up to lesson 10 on the videos xD Learning a lot.. still need a piano though haha.

Re: Download Lessons
Um, you can't get it to finish. It won't work. You have all the lessons though so it will still work. The only thing missing is the demo vid.

Re: Download Lessons
If you have Real Player installed, you can download a YouTube video with right mouse click and then selecting the download item of the context menu. Then you can watch the FLV files offline with Adobe Media Player, or you can convert it to another format e.g. with ffmpeg. The programs are for free, but ffmpeg might be a little difficult to use, if you are not used to the command line like me
But maybe a publisher can sell a DVD for Andrew? I think it should be possible to compress it to one DVD without too much quality reduction (and maybe while doing this, some normalization of the speech sound level would be useful), usually WMV is better than FLV anyway. Maybe could be a small publisher, who would be happy to copy small numbers of DVDs and send it around the world, if larger publishers don't want to do it.

Re: Download Lessons
Andrew has setup a nice playlist:
https://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=253192EED47525A8
From this list you could just open each video in a new window and save it. Looks like the RealPlayer library function (don't know the exact name, it's Bibliothek in my German version) then shows the videos and you can view it offline, without the Adobe Media Player. I've installed this just to be able to double click the FLV files from Windows explorer, but maybe Real Player can do this, too.

Re: Download Lessons
If you guys dont like to play FLV or cant. Or even if you wanna play the videos in a dvd player you can go to http://vixy.net/ and have that site convert the FLV to a AVI.
I personally wanted to download the torrent, but the link doesnt work for me...

Re: Download Lessons
It's much easier to use this program:
http://keepvid.com/
to download lessons, one at a time, rather than a huge torrent file, which takes days to download and gives you all sorts of problems (not to mention the inconveniency of blocking your internet connection.)

Re: Download Lessons
Ok, I managed to download all 40 lessons from YouTube since the torrent is not working. Does anyone have any CD artwork I may use? I have a device that can print directly to the DVD and was hopeing I could make it look nice instead of just writing on it. Dont worry Andrew, it is just for me to use, but I just like the fine details to look good.
Also, I have a data DVD made and am burning a video DVD, but it is taking hours to burn one of the first 10 lessons. I just hope it will fit all of them on it so I can continue to the second DVD.
