Years of searching the web for a piano teacher.
Thank you, so much...
I left a comment on your 2nd video on "Learn How To Play Piano", but I have to send you a message personally. I have wanted so long to learn how to play the piano. My mom has had one for years, and I sat down and picked at it, I tried to play. I also wanted to learn other instruments, like bass and drums. I searched around the Internet, trying to find a place to teach how to read music.
After so many years of searching aimlessly on the Internet, and going to so many sites, it still didn't teach me what I wanted to learn. I still felt emptyness. Everywhere I went, it was the same. A freebie video, then to learn the good stuff, you had to pay. I didn't want that. I still continued my search. I would buy a book for beginners, but there was no direction. If I had a question, it wouldn't get answered.
Finally, I, and I hate to put it this way, but I stumbled on 1 of your videos. I was like "Whoa... he's going so in depth. Alright, whats the catch? How much do I have to pay?". But, I saw the 2nd video and, it was so jaw dropping. I couldn't believe it. I owe you a debt I couldn't ever repay. I actually went to my parents house and got their keyboard to learn on. I watch you videos, take notes, and if I have a question, IT'S ANSWERED! That, to me, is AMAZING! You talk so clearly, you demonstrate on a piano, you throughly explain everything. You not only taught me how to play, but taught me everything. You live by your policy "Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime".
Again, I owe you a debt I cannot ever pay, and if you start charging, I will surely pay the price to get the best teaching I've ever seen. You have made a friend and thank you, so much. And, don't worry, if I get stuck, I'll refer to your videos. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And after it's all said and through, I will make a video of me playing a song, tributed to you, my friend. Take care!
Your student,
Jeff
