How to efficiently practice octaves
I have a question, what would be the best way to practice octaves, since The Hungarian Rhapsody N 6 has a pure octave destruction with the Right hand and i can play the octaves but not very efficiently and not as fast as it should be and it tires my hand to do it

Re: How to efficiently practice octaves
I guess you can practice octaves cromatic. Up and down with both hands. Try jumps. Forth and back and maybe scales with ocataves. Feel relaxed all the time Hope that might somewhat helpefull
Re: How to efficiently practice octaves
A tip for practicing octaves is to play the first octave, then instantly move into position for the next octave but don't play it until you are 100% sure your fingers are in the right position - then play. Continue doing this at slow speeds, perfectly without any mistakes before speeding up. I find this really helps with accuracy.
