Why I want to play..
Having had anxiety and depression over the last several years, I'm finally through the worst of it. I've decided to play Piano as a means of focusing myself.
I live a "normal" life now, and learning this is a way to get back my lost time. If I don't do it now, I'll regret it for the rest of my life.

And music itself make us positive, changes the brainwaves etc, and is possibly one way to stay happy...
They have done alot of research on music, but there is still more to be done...
I know that music have a great effect on me, especially if i'm the one playin...

Yes, I think music is actually a VERY powerful force for the mind/spirit Depending on the music you play it can either destory you, or build you up.
Re: Why I want to play..
Music is the best cure for any pain, especially of the soul. Reddybrek, I'm happy for you because you decided to take action against that state instead of staying passive, people who do that are heroes for me
And even though they go unnoticed, there are examples of this EVERY DAY.
Wish you all the best
