Wich one of these play best?
I was wondering, do you like the stedy fur elise or the "more emotional" slower fur elise?
Re: Wich one of these play best?
I don't think you should try to change something that's already perfect, it's emotionalness is perfect the way it was written

Yeah, but written music is all about interpitation. And Fur Elise is a dynamic piece. With standardtoptempo 148.(150) I have seen it to be written as a 130-148 tempo in a couple of sheets. (steady 148)That dosnt leave the player enough time to put real emtion in to it. I think I play it at a 130, its not really any difference, but I feel I can put alot more emotion in to it... I really dont think any of my two examples are really good btw hehe
Ex nr 1 play at correct tempo all the way trough, I think its a bit "cold" so I prefere nr 2, even though I dont like his solos!

I prefer the second, and as I found in the quote topic:
Frederic Chopin:
"For what kind of fool would I be if i played the same piece the same way twice"
You should try to stick to how the piece was written, but I see no reason why you should not play it a differ way, interpitation, my friends.

Indeed, but the question was which of the videos was the best, not how I would play it

How would you play it? hehe
I like it when the tempo is slower than 148, when there are alot of feelings envolved, But.. When the 3 solos are played, I like for them to be fast and solid. Thats what Im trying to do. And we'll se how that works out when I get a recording of it
Re: Wich one of these play best?
Well I kinda have my own version :O. I actually play a G Minor instead of a g major on the B C D E part sounds much more beautiful In my opinion =}, I really dont care what the tempo is I just play the way I feel like playing it ;D
