anybody knows a good software for learning the piano which can be downloaded from the net. thanks in advance

I did a google search... and realized that very few are for free. -unless you use torrents [which I don't use btw

www.musictheory.net is an excellent resource. While it isn't aimed at the piano specifically, it has a ton of useful information as well as sight and ear trainers. The best thing about it is that you can download the entire site so you can work offline with it. It's what I use for my daily ear and sight training exercises.
