Video Game Music
I didn't want to bump up the old thread about this topic so I'm making a new one. Who here likes video game music? I'm a big fan of video game music. Here are some examples of video game music I like (there are many, many more examples I could post).
Eternal Sonata Music - Leap the Precipice:
Dark Cloud Aero Drop Theme - Piano
Dark Cloud - Wise Owl Forest
Zelda Twilight Princess : Hyrule Field Main Theme - Piano
Demon's Souls- Tower Knight
3D Dot Game Heroes- Risk Your Life
Dark Chronicle- Spiral of Dreams
The Legend Of Zelda : Majora's Mask- Deku Palace

Re: Video Game Music
I love video game music! Anything Zelda is generally awesome.
I'm in the process of learning one of my old school favorites, from Dragon Warrior for the NES. I have it all down pretty well (though I'm not using a very great piano), except towards the end there are a few big jumps with the left hand that I don't quite have down yet, but I've only been playing for a couple months now so it's still going pretty well. It's amazing some of the great tunes that came out of the older games.
This song I'm learning:
Another favorite: Gauntlet
The Legend of Zelda theme's got to be the best though.
As far as newer games, though, I am a HUGE Halo fan, and love the music.

Re: Video Game Music
I like video game music, too. One of my favorite composer is Chris Hülsbeck. It's really cool when it is performed by an orchestre, like Giana Sister, which I played on C64 many years ago, and now on my iPhone
The Turrican adaption has a nice piano:
Not a game music (I think it was from a demo competition) is Stranglehold from Jeroen Tel, which I've used for a game (with the permission from the composer) I've written for the PSP. It's amazing that the whole sound file in XM format is only 14 kB!
Of course, you need at least an Amiga for XM files , but some music for the good old C64 SID was epic:
Another nice music from "The Last Ninja" from C64 (I played all levels of this game when I was young

Nice, sounds a bit like a piece from Bach:
