The only thing is that it is meant to be ONE topic pr person!!
This is starting to get messy to find peaople, especially when there will be many more But looking forward to your improv
But create a personal log. Or not, if you Absolutly dont want to hehe

Re: (Moved)The one topic discussion.
I dont really think thats a good idea, what are you going to do when theres more people with their "personal log" than a page on the forum can hold? Everyone will want to be on the first page. And what happends when theres 50 pages on your personal log? Nah, I think this way is better for me

Okay, aint going to argue with that
Re: (Moved)The one topic discussion.
Meh, as long as no one is spamming, flaming or being a jerk I'm pretty cool with anything.
This is cute, we're starting to have a little bit of tension going on here now. ^_^
No worries about the topics, I personally think it'll be to much of a hassle to keep everyone having one personal log.
People can do what they choose if they'd like to have many topics for their new performances or not. I leave the choice to you guys!

In case you did not notice every time a topic is popular or has new post in it, the title jumps up to the top of the first page... so whenever there is a new post and many visits to it, that is going to be on the first place anyway...
Like when Casy posted something her post was on the top but as soon as Thomas posted the second wave from his performance he was the first link and now it is pianohama... but as soon as the popularity decrease or there are no post on it, it sinks lower.
Thats life, so having one topic for one person should work just fine in my opinion.

Actually, when i read your post I think you make some very good points!
Alright, from now on, in the performance category you may only have one topic for your own performances this makes it easier to manage. Also the title of your topic should have your name in it, just like mine is "Andrew's Performances" If anyone has any objections you can let me know, but I think this way makes the most sense.
I hope no one gets offended by this! If you are offended let me know what you're thinking and I'll listen
Re: (Moved)The one topic discussion.
No disrespect andrew, but can you guys move this discussion to another thread and clean this thread up for me ? Thanks

Re: (Moved)The one topic discussion.
A toast to that! It will get organized and the sub-forum won't get messed up. We can edit the first post right? I mean the topic starter can put his/her log on the first post instead of creating a new message.
i.e.:
1/1/2008:
performance 1
3/1/2008:
performance 1 (improved)
performance 2
something like that.
PS: pianohama has a point. I got off topic myself.

Exactly what I mean, when the forum gets alot of users, everyone will want to have their own log on the first page.

Dont think that will be a problem. If a user overpost without any one else posting, I bet it will be discovered very soon, and that isnt allowed you know. So It wont be posssible to "spam" in your own topic to make it more "populare" I think you are creating a problem there, that isnt a problem. And if it should be like that, then... Ah, we must wait and see
Re: (Moved)The one topic discussion.
It is easy for you Pianohama to just delete this topic, since you havnt posted a Video yet! If you cant delet couse of all the post I guess Admins can do it, and you can just carrie on with the other topic. Couse you got a good video there, and none here Then edit the first post in your other topic, so the name is: Pianohamas Performances =)

Re: (Moved)The one topic discussion.
Yea, i moved the whole conversation into another topic as it was getting sort of confusing
Also, don't worry about telling people the rules of the forum I know you have good intentions in mind and i appreciate that! But other users will get ticked off if you start telling them what to do you know?
Hopefully you aren't pissed off, cause I really love having you here ^_^ just remember some people can be touchy about it. I know you didn't do much, so i'm not going to make it sound like a big deal, because it wasn't I'm not upset at anyone actually, I just want to keep the people happy
So continue on like normal, but if someone is breaking the rules, just private message me or jordan and let us know. that's what we're here for! ^_^
