Since my last topic was erased....
Hello everyone
An error happened during the 24 hours that I registered in the forum, and my topics were erased ... So here I go again!
I am from the UAE, and I have a computer engineering background. However, I really love music and I have always wanted to learn to play the piano but never had the opportunity. Actually, I never even touched a piano, even when it was very close to me!
I used to play the keyboard for three years (mostly one hand, though) when I was little. I was even part of the school band, and I once played in a local TV show with two of my friends. However, I stopped playing for almost 10 years now, so I am considered an absolute beginner (still, it is all stored in my braincells as Thomandy said )
I have always played by ear, and I have very little knowledge about sight reading (elementary school level) but I want to start to learn it all from scratch until I master it.
I am starting to learn how to play "Fur Elise" using Andrew's video that I found in youtube, and that's how I came here! I find it a little hard to synchronize my hands, but I am sure I will be awesomely good with time
I hope this will be a good place to enrich my experience.
Have a pianoful day!
P.S: Thank you Thomandy and Amro for the Welcome

Re: Since my last topic was erased....
Welcome!!! Your background sounds very interesting! you played on TV before, that's impressive! You're going to have to post up some videos of you playing in the performance topic later!
Re: Since my last topic was erased....
Biko and Amro: Thanks!!
Andrew:
well, that was a children's show, and I was a child! it is not as impressive as it sounds,,, but ya it is interesting
When I will be able to perform the beginning of Fur Elise as well as you, then definitely I will post it
Thanks!
