Piano sheets and the vocing thing
Alright,, I have a question and this one it's very important...
So, the top thing it's the voice, Right? And the Squares are chords for guitar
But.. I have alot of sheets like this...
Those are IN MIDDLE OF the piano sheet.. I WANT TO THINK of THEM AS A GUIDE OF THE SONG, As how the sound makes the lyrics..
OR.. is it also mean to be singed?

I'm sure you could try figuring out the singing part if you really wanted to...? I don't sing, so I just ignore the occasional lyrics part in my books.

Re: Piano sheets and the vocing thing
So those are called occasional lyrics in the middle of piano sheets?
In other words.. I got a version of fly me to the moon in the same way, but I'm NOT SURE if it will really sound different (you know, just like bgm) and you have to sing the rest.
arghh i'm really confused.

Re: Piano sheets and the vocing thing
Well in my books I do have lyrics sometimes, because some of those were originally sang not played on piano... like the folk songs collected by Bartók or other stuff.
But I learn to play the piano not to sing and I'd sing terribly so I just ignore the lyrics
If it's a piano book you don't have to sing, guess it makes sense, I never thought of doing it at least... optional at best, hmm?

Re: Piano sheets and the vocing thing
The first sheet shows the left and right hand + the voice, the second shows just left and right hand. The right hand here plays the voice.
