Congrats on the new piano!
I thought the same thing when I got mine. I guess they look smaller in photographs.

Re: My new keyboard arrived >.<
I got my e-piano last week and everybody that comes around is like "is that a real piano"? it has this really cool "real-piano-look" to it! Just doesnt quite sound or feel like real piano. but Im happy anyway!
by the way, i freaked out when the delivery-guy came and brought me the piano and I had to carry it up four floors!!! I had two of my neighbors come over to help me! That thing is so damn heavy!!!

They are incredibly heavy aren't they?
My mum helped me carry it up stairs to my room and even that was a struggle! Now everytime I move it around my room trying to find a good position for it I can't even pick it up properly so I have to move one end at a time then turn it and place it back down, then pick up the other end and repeat til its in the right place!

Re: My new keyboard arrived >.<
Great
Then you are a happy guy
Yeah, they are heavy
But at least not near a real piano or a grand, haha
Mine weighs about 70 Kg

Yeah, they are heavy

Re: My new keyboard arrived >.<
I remember I was thinking when I got my 88 keys that it wasnt as big as I expected. Probably because I had most my experience with real pianos when I was a little boy. I felt it was huge, but piano's arent that big.
You're lucky with your almost 10kg ( 22lbs ), mine isnt more than 16kg ( 36lbs ), but those things feel heavy for sure. Gotta be how it's shaped, I can easily lift a 15kg dumbell.
70kg, that's heavy, my desk is 50kg and it was breaking my back when I set it up.
