This is me playing a shorter and easier version of Scott Joplins: The Entertainer
My first learned song actually after I got my Piano three days ago =)
The tempo in this version varies a little from the tempo in the original.

Impressive, loved the first one ( I loved the second one to ).
At 1:33 in "Canon" there is something weird with the tempo, that's it,
and the final chords at the end... it's like you're looking after the right keys.

Thanks Very Happy
I can se what you mean, I just wanted a really smooth and calm ending, and maby I waited a tad to long Smile
But the chord is correct; Lefthand: D & Righthand: A D F#

Hehe Smile It goes from 1/8-notes to 1/16-notes, in other words, dobbel speed Wink
Parhaps I started out a bot to fast, but it is hardly noticable Smile
Besides its my oldest recording Smile

Bravo!!! cheers

All three performances were GREAT! ^_^ The way you're playing you don't look like you've only played for 3 months so GREAT work! You've got pretty good hand posture, your hands look slightly over curled, you could probably do better with slightly flatter fingers, but still keeping the overall curve of the hand.

Try watching my piano lessons video #21 "relax it's just posture" But really your posture is quite good and it doesn't need much fixing at all. Your sound is nice and your rhythm is very nice! you've got a nice flare for performing! ^_^

The only thing that really made you look ammature was in the 3rd video when you tried to play the fast part around 0:55ish you began to mush the notes together, all the notes need to sound clear even at that speed, the best way to get that sound is by holding your arms just above the keys and then letting your fingers lightly glide across the keys.

Overall! AWESOME! i'm very impressed at your skills in such a short time! Great job! cheers

I'm looking forward to seeing more vids! bounce

Now you made me VERY happy Smile Actually, you made my day Very Happy Didnt know where I should be at this point in my progress, but understand now that I maby got some tallent, couse of what you are saying Smile Smile
I have seen that lesson #21, and try to think about it; the slightly overcurled fingers. But I thought it was harder thinking about it playing The Entertainer. But, working on it as we speak Smile

Okay, I see... That is also my oldest vid. Recorded it about a month ago, and posted it on youtube two weeks ago Smile
But my biggest problem is speed at this point. And hopefully it also has gotten better the last month. Couse I also play quite fast in the first vid (The Entertainer) and think I did som clearer notes there Smile So that is progress Smile
Maby Ill try to update my speedy canon, and hopfully there will be a difference Razz hehe

In my older videos I attached the names on the keys: a b c ...... But I felt I was to attached to them, so I got rid of them Smile
But in the Canon you see posted here, you cant see them. And of course they arent on my Piano Smile

Later I might have some courage to show my recital work ( it's going to be on the 23rd) so any minute when Im not in history I should practice... ( that usually around 3-4 am Shocked )
Anyway... I need to keep in mind 1 week and thats will be over...
Sleep I have acute lack of sleep by now ... life of a student ( not complaint)
So I better go back to my book...

What happened around 52 to 55?

Rythm was steady, nice theme, no wrong keys accidentally hit,
atleast I didnt notice those.......

And I cant really complain about pauses etc., because this stuff
couldve been intended since it's your own work...

Dont know what you mean with 52 - 55 Razz
What happens in these 3 secs, that part actually reepet itselfe at 3.24 -3-27 -
The peace is cinda in 4 parts. The beginning, then at 0.52 it move down to the second part, wich is deeper...
Then when that is done I move up to the higher part(3) then do the exact same to go back in to the same area as I started so I can end(part4) and to get from part 1-2 and from 3-4 I use 4 notes to move down! Smile

Im my head that is how I dream, all those travels in betwen that change the story or theme of the dream. So the different part is cind of different storys in the same dream, and I need to travel from the one to the other. I dont know exactly what you meant, but Razz Couse im doing what I intended to do =)

No accidental keyhitting =) I usualle hit the right keys, but to often they are to loud or to low, hehe Very Happy
Dont have to complaine, but If you think I got some bad pauses or anything, Its okay to say so Smile
I got one longer break to intensify when I go ff in part 2 Razz Thought It would make it more noticable since I start the part P*and then when I hit octaves with my right hand, I go FF*

I feel it sounds a bit differnet than whei I actually play it, or when I record on the Piano. Its a Digital Photocamera, so I cant really complaine about it =)

Hope I answerd what you meant Smile

Nocturnal Dream

I have to tell you it was worth the waiting. I actually like when there is a pause for effect plus you are right different parts should be separated by some pause.

cheers I really liked it and true enough it was dreamy. So keep up composing Maestro king
