G Minor where G=Major?!

G Minor where G=Major?!
Ok this is really weird, whenever I play a Natural G Minor scale, G doesn't at all sound like the minor note, instead, B flat sounds minor and both G and F sound "major." And I'm p\almost completely sure G Minor is B flat and E flat, so is this expected with G Minor, or is it just me, because I'm afraid I might be playing some G Minor songs wrong...

G major is all white keys except the F is sharped
