Chords beyond my reach Songev7

How can I play that? My fingers can play an octave, but that's about it >.< Should I roll my hand?

Sorry, those two were actually octaves. This is the one I meant.

yes, that's a 10th in the LH, 10th's are usually rolled unless you're a monster - - - > alien Rachmaninoff {he could reach from C to A a full major 13th} Suspect

I've always wondered myself what it would be like to be able to reach that many notes. scratch

Like in this chord, I though about something that might be okay?! And that is to move the lowest C to the C in the middle.
The difference wouldnt be that huge as long as you keep the top E right? That might be a alternative solution Smile

I agree, that's another possible solution. Especially if the piece is moving quickly and rolling would be out of place, But if it's at the end of a phrase near a cadence section, rolling would be a great way to go. Smile
