Franks Performances - Inkl;Schneeflöckchen Weißröckchen etc
I tried an old folksong I know since I was I child, and it is much easier to keep tempo, accentuation etc. for well known pieces with song texts.
This was recorded with my new digital input equipment. Now in theory I could produce a sound quality like in this demo song
Maybe in some ten years...

You played it Very nicely! Perfect solid tempo and a sweet character to it Be sure to drag that with you when you reach the harder pieces
Well done!!^^
Well done!!^^
Re: Franks Performances - Inkl;Schneeflöckchen Weißröckchen etc
Thanks. I think it is important to try to play simple parts perfectly, because otherwise for harder pieces it will be very difficult to learn how to play it nicely, if you didn't practiced it before with parts where you don't need to concentrate on the notes.
Re: Franks Performances - Inkl;Schneeflöckchen Weißröckchen etc
LOl you got me there! I was surprised it was only 20 second video LOL but nevertheless it was a fun yet sweet tune to listen to, I hope you complete that song with both hands since I'm looking forward to it
Re: Franks Performances - Inkl;Schneeflöckchen Weißröckchen etc
That was all of the piece, then it is just repeated some times. This is a transposed version, with lyrics:

Ok, some chords could be added, but I'll try that with some more interesting pieces

Prelude in F minor
Ok, the contest is already over, but I like Thomas's piece, so I've tried to learn it and now I can play it without sheets, which is important for me for a fluent playing:
Maybe I should play the chords not as loud and sometimes the tempo is fluctuating, but it sounds already much better than the other things I've played so far

Thanks for your comments, I'm glad you like it. I really enjoyed learning and playing it, but needed too long for it (maybe 10 hours, spread over some weeks). Playing with both hands together was the most difficult part, but this was my first more complex 2 hand piece, so there is a chance that I'll get better when learning more pieces.

With the help of my teacher, who likes the piece too, I have learned a bit to play with pedal and more dynamics and less loud chords, which is not as easy as it sounds, at least for me, because my fingers wants to play always melody and chords with the same loudness
This is my new try:
This is my new try:
Andante, a piece based on the symphony no. 94 in G major from Joseph Haydn
This time a happy, simple piece, but I like it:
Re: Franks Performances - Inkl;Schneeflöckchen Weißröckchen etc
Subtle differences, but I like it a lot more than the first. It sounds like you know what you're doing on the piano...
Really, very nice!

Thanks. My timing is not perfect (my fingers don't like dotted notes ) but I'll keep practicing with more interesting pieces.

Two short classical training pieces
For training staccato (I still can't do it very well)
Some legato training:
Some legato training:
Greensleeves
A small piece, but a nice arrangement:
I wonder why there are so many Greensleeves videos on Youtube?

I play that on the guitar, that piece has to be one of the most uber ever made. It's short, it's good, everybody knows it and I got the feeling that this is the piece you wanna play if you wanna break tension ^_^

I don't know who did it, but thanks for moving all my performances to this thread. I think it shows at least a bit progress since my first performance
