Hi Andrew! I'm a Violin player trying to learn Piano >_<
Hi,
As I said in my subject, I am a Violin player, actually Grade 12 RCM, living in Ontario >_<
I got tired of violin, and am trying to learn piano lol.
I am self-teaching myself with piano, and finished Beyer's (though I dunno if I had practiced it in the correct way )
I am trying to find a good self-teaching piano book. Do you have any recommendations?
And another thing, I am 19 years old, and it's my first time playing piano.
The thing is, till now, I have been playing violin, and with violin, left and right hand is ALWAYS synched. meaning you bow at the same time you move your left hand, so it is always simultaneous.
With piano, I am finding it hard to separate my left hand movement with my right hand.. Is there any good excercise you recommend to free them apart?
THANK U !!!!

I did a lesson on this topic ^_^
Here's the chart that shows the break down of the lessons. https://afpa.hooxs.com/ideas-for-future-lessons-f19/lesson-outline-use-this-as-an-index-for-all-my-new-reshot-lessons-t496.htm
I think you're looking for lesson # 11 but I can't be 100% sure.
Hope that helps

oh ! Thank you!
btw, is there any widely accepted sequences of etudes/pieces I should follow?
In violin, like people go from repertoire : suzuki-haydn2-mozart adelaide-mozart12345-vivaldi2-mendelsohn-vitali-bach-bruch-lalo whatever -_-;
etudes: sevcik-homahn-hrimali-thirdposition-Kreutzer....etc...
is there any steps of pieces/etudes like these in learning piano?
