My Video of Fur Elise is used on FreeScores
So I found out my recording is used there as an example on how to play it. Of course thats kind of cool, but shouldnt they have asked me first?? Or is all Youtubevideos sort of free to use for everyone? (Ps: I dont mind at all though)

If your video is copyrighted you wouldnt have made it available on youtube, because it's not about copyright on youtube.
Look at it at the bright side, your video is shown on free-scores,
more users will see it, and a few would possible enter your account.

Yeah, I know there isnt any copyright on my vid, and I thought it was a cool thing

My victors pianosolo tutorial is also on a site called PureLessons, i think it was

I just though of the ethics. Its sort of polite to ask first

Well, actually you can claim copyright at anytime if you got prove that you have made it, so if you fex got a video of yourselfe playing, and anyone steals it, you can sue them afterwards and have a strong and solid case since you actually performe it on camera before they have had the chance to steal it


Edit:
All original content is automaticly copyrighted when you show it to the public. So even if people can use it they should sign MY name to the video ect if they decide to use my material, like those tutorials I made.
Like my originals are copyrighte by the law

When your uploading the video I think you decide wether people can Embed it.

I would like to apply for a school though, but Im not sure what I should have as experience or knowledge to get into a university, cause thats the only thing I can get into here in Norway, as far as I know
