Sheets - To Zanarkand
Hi
Sheets - To Zanarkand
My little sister want to learn this piece now and if anyone knows of any sheets of a normal version to piano??
I think its a Grade 4 and that she might struggle a little, but Ill try to teach her to play it. She is very tallented so I think with some help that she could make it with some correct practice
Soooo - Sheets for this piece anyone??

Thank you Amro
Well she learned the first piece I learned - Easy Canon just as easy as I did when I started... But she does not have the same dedication and is more occupied with other things All the time, little populare 14 year old, hehehe

I did write a long post here, but stupid firefox, or maybe this forum doesnt have the ability to save the stuff I write if i accidentially press backspace
Anyway, I love this piece, it got a few "hard" spots, but mostly it's pretty easy.

Ah, to bad
Well, yeah, its a great piece There are as you say a couple of fast arpegio-bars, but still they are slower than those in Victors piano solo... So hopefully she will manage it with some practice.. Even though she only got like 5 hours behind a piano. But in that time she has learned the Easy Canon ...
I guess you play this piece Victor??
Re: Sheets - To Zanarkand
Not sure I want to look at these sheets.
This is the first song I learned 100%. I cant play the second last arpeggio properly and I flub alot in general but still.
Oh Ill take a look.

Why afraid to take a look??
Re: Sheets - To Zanarkand
I learned it from a pianotutorial and not from the sheets itself. It took quite a while. (I even have the tutorial on my ipod, 33min long.)
But I have looked. One of them looked like rubbish, the other one I managed to play along in my mind while looking at the sheets. Most of it atleast.
I might relearn it when I have better technique, but then it would have to be from the original score.

Re: Sheets - To Zanarkand
I cant wait to play To Zanarkand when I get the digital piano, hopefully I havent forgotten to much, but I'll sure I'll have to remove some rust so I can play what I learned earlier this year ^_^
But when I get the digital piano ( that I was supposed to have by now, but since I dont live with my father, it's kinda complicated to get a hold off him )
I can add sustain etc, so then I'll have to "reconfigure" the whole way of playing, but with some practice everything can be done, cant it?
Hopefully the brains memory works kinda like a muscle cell, when you build muscles, the thing that increases is the size of the cell, not the amount of cells,
so when a bodybuilder stops lifting weight for some years and he's getting really small, the only thing that happens is that the amount of protein in the cell decreases,
but the size of the muscle cell is increased for life, and thus easier to build big again, because they just have to fill up, not stretch.
( me and my weird facts ^_^ )
Lets say I have forgotten a few part, I can look at the sheet,
practice some hours, and it should be back to where I was.
It has been like that on a few guitar pieces I played a long time ago and partially forgot...
