beats the hell out of To Zanarkand ;)
Most beautiful song i have ever heard, beats everything I have heard. plus this dude rocks on the piano.
Re: beats the hell out of To Zanarkand ;)
The piece itself is great, but I didnt feel any chills, that's probably what separates the music I really like from the just good music.
Last years chill:
"Lexus - The Pursuit Of Perfection composed by Mark Joggerst"
The 1994 chill, Oh My God:

^_^ I liked it, reminds me of my old days as a kid watching Disney movies. It's a pretty epic song!
Re: beats the hell out of To Zanarkand ;)
LOL, I like Disney music way better than classical pieces and that's why I like the song more than any other classical composition. I felt the "chills" and maybe thats what you mean by "what is 60% for me, can be 150% for you".

Re: beats the hell out of To Zanarkand ;)
In general I prefer classical music especially when it comes to sad themes! Though when the lines are blurred between classical and not, thats very interesting!
I'm addicted to this at the moment though, listened to it probably 50+ times? I love this recording!

Re: beats the hell out of To Zanarkand ;)
chopin's first ballade is actually my fav piece.
In the agitato part I would have played faster and used more pedal though.
But I think the best part is at 5:50 . This is so epic!
