Just to be sure, when i play something that is in say, G Major, while on the staff there will only be 1 sharp (the #F3), i still play "all" the Fs sharped (and not only #F3) right? (unless told otherwise by some other sharp before it or smt).
Thanks

Key sinatures - as applied.
Key signatures are a must and very essential, In G maj all Fs will be played as the sharp, BUT do you know what the natural sign is. If you do not then find out because, if it is put before the F in your Gmaj piece then for that bar the F will be a natural. The same would apply if the natural sign were put in front of a note which in the key signature was a flat(s).
If you are learning on your own I take my nhat off to you.

I address the neutral sign in this lesson =)
Re: question about key signature (almost ashamed of asking xD)
When its an accidental, as in not part of the key signature its played until the end of the bar. When its in the key signature its played for the entire piece on all notes of that type, (I wasn't sure about this to start with either! ) unless a neutral sign is present before the note (or a flat or sharp I suppose) Key Signature is one thing I do understand!

Andrew covers this in his lesson #5 I believe, and in a way that makes it easy to comprehend.

Yeah, that's right But in most scores, even tho' the accidental only last til the end of the bar, its
a new accidental later on for that same note to understate the obvious. In the very beginning this confused me, but with or without its the same, it turns back to the key signature.. Unless of course the accidental is saying otherwise, but I haven't run into that yet

Before I started to read sheets, I didnt know what I needed the Circle of Fifth for. But it's to help see what key a piece is in ^_^
Not that that help anyone here, I just wanted to mention it, CoF is very helpful.
