Do you know this melody?
I can't remember the name or composer, so I just made an example out of my head, if anyone knows tell me!

Re: Do you know this melody?
O_o
Your PC is laisy?
It's a standard .WAV file encoded in mp3 @ 44,1kHz 120kbps stereo, with windows xp sound recorder. I get that with vlc sometimes, just select the file and open with:, either windows media player, or sound recorder itself.
Unless you don't have mp3 codec? Which I'm not sure comes standard in windows (I'm assuming you're using windows).

Re: Do you know this melody?
The melody is a work for string orchestra by American composer Samuel Barber. It's the second movement from his first String Quartet No. 1, Op. 11.
Although, I first heard this from trance music DJ and producer Tiesto. He sampled it for his song Adaigo For Strings. The original song is usually played to remember the September 11th attacks.

I guess there went somthng wrong when downloading Ill try again. Seems like you got your answer=)
Edit: Yup it worked now. Yeah, its a dramatic and emotional song/piece! =)
Re: Do you know this melody?
Thanks Andrew!
I had that melody in my head, but could not remember where I heard it from or what was it's name. Indeed it is a dramatic/emotional melody, I guess that must have been why it stuck in my head
