Any other Danes in this forum?
Da jeg ikke har lyst til at bladre gennem et par tusinde profiler for at finde ud af om her er andre danske, så spørger jeg her: ER HER NOGEN ??
(Not wanting to go through a few thousand profiles to see if there are any other Danes, I'm asking in this post: ANYBODY HERE ??)

Just posting to prevent this thread from falling off the list of latest topics!
I don't remember seeing another Dane here, only you. Strange, there are some Norwegians and Swedes (even one Icelander, me!) Are Norwegians and Swedes more musical than Danes?

Re: Any other Danes in this forum?
Hi, Ted, appreciate that :
I don't know if the Norwegians and Swedes are more musical in general, but it sounds nicer when they sing, because their language is more melodic to begin with, at least I think so. We Danes have a harder, rougher sounding language, that carries over to our singing, I guess.
Also, I'm afraid we Danes are a laid back (read lazy) bunch. I've noticed that there are hardly any danish forums of any kind, nor very many Danes participating in any of the other forums. So there! I dare you to come in here and prove me wrong, my fellow countrymen!

Re: Any other Danes in this forum?
Just kidding of course, participation in a music forum doesn't prove anything about musical talents. I always liked Kim Larsen and you have won Eurovision. Iceland has made it to second place twice, the first time losing to Sweden, then Norway!
Yes the Danes have the reputation of being ligeglad (relaxed attitude.) Hope some of your countrymen turn up though.

"Relaxed" is a very nice way of putting it, he he.
I looooove Kim Larsen, have most of his music, know most of his songs by hearth. I looked at some of my favourites to see if maybe I could play them, but they don't really lend themselves to be played on the piano too well.
