Re: Mozart Music and Scores
Oh my goodness what a wonderful resources about Mozart. Yesterday I checked them out looking for some less well known piano pieces by Mozart and found an amazing work on the archive (Adagio in H) -- listened to it several times and then downloaded the sheet music. It is exquisitely beautiful. Thanks so much for providing these links.

Re: Mozart Music and Scores
Go to the site -- click yes on the agreement, wait for the files to be retrieved. Then click on the Piano Music category, then click on the volume you want (for the Adagio in H -- its (101) Piano Pieces Volume 2 -- you can check what's in a volume any time by clicking on the red "i" on the right side of the title. When you do so -- you will get the contents of Volume 2 -- scroll down to the section marked Anhang and you will find the Adagio in H in the list -- to print it you must first click on the Adobe Acrobat symbol (beside the red "i") to download the file. (you need and Acrobat Reader to access these files -- it's free from Adobe.com) One you have downloaded the file you can save it on your computer and print it.
Only one problem -- the print is very small -- I need to get my glasses checked! lol

Re: Mozart Music and Scores
The link to the entire site is in the first message of this post:
http://dme.mozarteum.at/DME/nma/nmapub_srch.php?l=2
The link to the piece is on this page: http://dme.mozarteum.at/DME/nma/nmapub_srch.php?l=2 but I'm not sure you can just get there by clicking -- you have to sign the agreement first and they have to retrieve the files. You have to scroll a long way down to get to the Anhang section -- in order to find The Adagio in H. Good luck.

Re: Mozart Music and Scores
In case you have trouble, as I did, reading the tiny typeface, try this solution: take the score to a photocopyshop and have the increase the copy size by 20 percent. I will still fit on regular sized sheets of paper but they may need to do some fiddling to make sure none of the music gets cut off. Now I can tell the sharps from the flats in all those 16th note passages.

Yes, the more I listen to this, the more I love it. Thanks for finding this. One day in the distant future I'll be able to play it, but in the meantime, I'll just enjoy listening to it. It's absolutely brilliant!

Re: Mozart Music and Scores
Thank you so much for posting the youtube video -- I agree it is absolutely a brilliant piece -- I love how it shifts from such a sad beginning to a more hopeful ending. It was also great to find out I wasn't playing it too fast or too slow -- my tempos (tempi?) seem about the same. Now if I could just smooth everything out and stop making those pesky mistakes .....
