Beethoven must have been a sadist!
I'm sure of it, I have noticed that he writes music which is easy to start with, and then about half way through makes it really hard ( I can almost hear him laughing). Don't believe me? well there is fur elise, moonlight sonata (just try and do the 3rd movement!), and farewell to the piano, all easy to start with and soon as you start to feel like you got it....BAM it gets tricky....... it has to be part of some sadistic game
......or perhaps I'm just frustrated not being able to play a certain couple of bars of farewell to the piano having worked on it for hours....... END OF RANT!.....
P.S. Love Beethoven really.....
, and besides I have a lesson tomorrow which should sort it all out......I feel better now

P.S. Love Beethoven really.....

Hehe
Yeah, thats true
But then you just have to get really good, son one day you can say: Beethoven was a simplistic composer. Ex Moonlight Sonata; First he starts of with two Super easy movements, before he ends with a slightly tricky little thing(3mov)
If you can say that one day, you know you got it down

Re: Beethoven must have been a sadist!
ill tell you a secret... im scared of beethoven! im serious. he freaks me out. i have this little statue of him on my piano and one day i was feeling reminiscent so i was playing fur elise and i glanced up and heres this little plastic guy glaring down at me. because im a rather imaginative person, i ended up having nightmares about him. but he really is a great composer. im just psychotic is all....
