Have you the blues scales? Are the blues "pentatonic scales"? It is in lesson number 8 by Andrew on youtube. I would like to know why they are called blue scales and if they had another name...That kind of scale is not in my scale book :-D

The blues scales are the pentatonic scales with a "blue" key.
Pentatonic C minor scale: C,E#,F,G,A#
Pentatonic C minor blues: C,E#,F,F#,G,A#
You see, they add this F# note ( to make disharmony actually ),
and because of that semi-tone, it sounds bluesy.
Blues is almost based on disharmony, but it actually sounds good...

I now regret to have paid three euros in a second hand book that is harder to read than those scales...OH I got the A#harmonic minor which does not seem to appear on this pdf files!
