Hi there,

Well first off, i'd thank fate for helping me stumble on Mr. Furmanczyk's youtube tutorials. I'm learning how to play fur elise, I understand the fingering and keys for the first part of the song which is then repeated though out, but the second and third harder parts, i'm having trouble with. The thing is I can't read sheet music very well, but once I see the keys being played like e and flat e (5) then b d c a, I can remember the whole song. I know i have to learn to read sheet music eventually but could someone help me with identifying the rest of keys. Please?

Fur Elise eh. Is there a specific part your stuck on? Or are you just struggling to read the whole thing?

If its just reading it thats the problem, then maybe just practice some other easier peices untill you get better. There is also a small tutorial of the easy part by Andrew. And Tomandy has tutorials of the harder parts. You could maybe use them alongside the sheet music to make it easier?

I have the same problem...I can do the easy part the one everyone hears about but the harder part is just not agreeing with me to the point I quit the piano...I havent touched it since Oct 2009. Also has to do with that I moved and I cant find teachers here so I'm picking it up with Andrew again.
