Hello, new here, but I've been watching Andrew's videos on YouTube for about two weeks or so now. I first started watching when I was searching for videos of people playing FFIX songs on YouTube. It's my favorite game and game soundtrack, and it really made me want to be able to play them on my own. I bought a keyboard online and watched as many of Andrew's videos as I could (without getting too ahead of myself). In a few days I finally got the keyboard, and was dedicated to learning one of my favorite songs from FFIX, "Frontier Village Dali."

I practiced lots the first night I had the keyboard, and by the second night I was able to play the entire melody without messing up. By the next day I was able to play without needing the sheet music. That was about 10 days ago maybe, and I'm now working on the bass more. I've learned to play it on the first of the three pages of sheet music. It's hard getting both hands to sync together properly, and I felt like I was going nowhere, but I just forced myself to practice and I'm noticeably getting a little better at it. At the same time, I'm learning multiple pieces from the soundtrack.

Just wanted to introduce myself, and give Andrew a huge thanks for the videos. Without them, I don't know where I'd get any guidance from -- I can't afford a teacher and don't have time anyway (in uni right now until December). I'm in a long-distance relationship (US - UK) with my fiance, so having this new hobby/passion is a great way to not feel so lonely while we wait to see each other the few chances we get. So, thank you, Andrew! And keep up the great work!

Uematsu is as much play'd as Beethoven is, but then again, the music in Final Fantasy is great. A shame that Uematsu didnt do much in the FFXII, you clearly can hear the lack of him in that game. And even worse that he dont work for Square Enix anymore Sad

He has done some great work with Lost Odyssey on XBox360 that I dont plan to buy ^_^
