Injuries and Itches!! :)
1: Yeah, my thumb is "dislocated" so I cant play at the moment
But yeah, any other things I could do? I know some, but tips might be of help still
2: ITCHES - I havent seen anyone or hear anyone talk about this: When you are performing and you get a REALLY anoying itch ec on your nose or in your eye... This gotto be a performance-wrecker in some cases. I have gotten this LOTS of times where I have tried to not itch in the middle of a performance or practicesession... But sometimes its impossible, and either way its very disturbing... hehe - Any thought???

Yeah, I meant more in the line of ear-training things or sightreading-things ect
Im keeping away from the piano for some days. The thumb is at least a bit better today than yesterday though
Re: Injuries and Itches!! :)
ouch... how'd you dislocated it? I hope you didn't dislocated it from playing to hard on your piano.
Yea you could still be doing ear training, if you can still play with the other hand right? You could play intervals and try to sing them. You could also try listening to the sound of each pitch and see if you can recognize it when someone plays it for you.
As for the itching, I usually just ignore it I picture taking that itch, putting it in a box and throwing it off a bridge into cool water. Then I just keep playing. ^_^ On the rare occasion I have to stop and itch.

Im not really sure how it got this way, I dont think its dislocated but I couldnt find another word for it. I cant use it even for simple tasks, but getting better
Yeah, good idea. I really need to work on arpeggios and intervals ect cause I have sort of only done scales... And not to much of that lately as well
Okay, I see Yeah, I guess Id Have to not bother when I one day perform. But It really interrupt my playing only if Im just practicing cause I start to think about it to much, and I try my best to not itch unless its a really bad itch. Sometimes its like the itch just gets worse and worse the more I start thinking about it, and I think it does that to annoy me haha
Re: Injuries and Itches!! :)
the less you think about it, the less importaint it will be! ^_^ It's all in your mind after all.
Yup just be careful! Don't want to injure yourself more!

When you go pro you can probably afford a scratcher that can scratch you when you play.

I think a new layout would be nice, just make sure it isn't too complicated and has some class.
