Hi Andrew,
I am new to this forum ,kinda came to this site from the youtube videos ,Love your videos btw and i am on the 6 th lesson now,thanks to you:D
I want you to give me a couple of list of songs that a beginner like me should start since many famous songs are too complicated for me to start off at the moment. i ll find it from the net :]

twinkle twinkle little star
sakura sakura (nice japanese classic)
when the saints go marching in
Auld lang syne (hell its not new years but what the hey??)
mary had a little lamb
home on the range
amazing grace
come birds

that should get you started, google should have the sheet music since 90% of these songs are public domain/folk songs.
