Hi everyone
I've been wanting to learn an instrument for a long time as a hobby. I used to play a bit of guitar when I was younger but never kept it up. So I was surfing Youtube one day and came across Andrew's lessons and thought "hey, that's not so hard". So I guess you could say that this new hobby is Andrew's fault and if I'm good at it I'll give him full credit. If I'm not I'll give him the bill for the keyboard I just bought
I look forward to reading the posts on this forum and learning from those of you who've already started the journey I'm about to.
See ya on the forum!

My enlish very poor, did you say you wanted a pony???
Re: Hi everyone
So since Thomandy is making me pay (and now in Euros because I ratted him out) I have to earn more money. So I'm taking Andrew lessons #1 & #2 then I'm taking my keyboard and (Canucks!) hat down to Robson Street to play 'Three Blind Mice' for donations. I hope I get a lot of Loonies!

ohh! You live in vancouver? I lived down there for a few months this past summer ^_^ Also, my brother lives there.
Re: Hi everyone
I live in Richmond actually, but work in downtown Vancouver both in my regular job and my new career as a penniless street musician working for music lessons. To work Robson Street do I have to get addicted to heroin or that optional?

lol... well I'd assume that's optional if you're a good actor
What do you do in down town van? (if you don't mind me asking)

Re: Hi everyone
Yay, my keyboard arrived! Thanks to Andrew's excellent Lesson #1 I can play scales and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
I'm not good enough to play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star at Carnegie Hall yet, but some day I will be!
My first Carnegie Hall performance:
First: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
Second: Three Blind Mice
(standing ovation)
Maybe I should learn another song, in case I have to do an encore.

hahahahah! Oh man i love your sense of humor! that was hilarious your encore piece could be. Marry had a little lamb, OR happy birthday. OR you could surprise them all and bust out "Smoke on the water"
Re: Hi everyone
Thanks for all the suggestions Andrew. Now I have enough material for my first CD!
