Hi everyone!!
Hi
I am a 31 year old man from Norway. I have ordered a Yamaha DGX-630 keyboard.
I am completly new to piano playing. I can read most of the notes. But thats it.
So i'm really looking forward to learning how to play. I hope there are others like me here.
It would be nice to make some friends. And also having someone to support me.
Things will become easier when you have someone help you out. I hope I can be of some help to others.
Regards
Staale...

Welcome! I'm glad I'm not the 'newest' here anymore! I have noticed there's a lot of Norwegians here... Interesting... I guess Norway must be very musical!
I am almost buying a Yamaha YPG-535, I know it's probably not the best but I can't afford a better one. I've read it has semi-weighted keys, at least it's better than the broken 49-keys keyboard I'm using.
I can read notes too, kind of, but I have to get used to them being called by alphabet letters, I learned them as "do re mi fa sol la si". So, as you can see, you're not the only one new to playing piano for real

Thanks for the welcome!! Nice to know that there is so many nice people here. I am still waiting for my keyboard to arrive.
I was surprised too that there are so many Norwegians here.

Welcome Staale, from another newbie. I'm also learning piano for the first time but unlike you I cannot read notes yet.

Hi to you.
Learning notes is easy. Playing them is much harder.
But I think we are in the right place for learning how to play.
