The benifits of drinking tea
Recently I started drinking tea since I went to go visit Angela. She drinks a lot of tea so I suddenly decided to drink it often. Wow! In the last few weeks I feel so much more healthy! I went out and bought some more today. I'm liking the Green tea and this african tea called Roobios or somthing.
Anyway, I just thought I'd share that. Anyone else drink lots of tea? Do you feel it makes you more healthy?

Re: The benifits of drinking tea
I bought alot of tea when I was in Beijing. I had a sheet saying what effects they had on the body, but I lost it.
So now I have four boxes of chinese tea, labeled in chinese.
It tastes good though.

i'm a fan...i could live on tea, bread and jam for a long long time. first of all because it's effortless and secondly bacause it requires no gastronomic talent( i/m no jamie olliver..i'm actually a very bad cook )

Re: The benifits of drinking tea
I was raised to be a tea drinker. My mom always made a big pitcher for the day. It was sure better than just water ( although recently I learned to appreciate water more) so for me tea was inseparatable part of my every day life. I still love it a lot and drink it more than others but I mostly drink it if I am sick. I am a big fan of green tea too besides fruit teas.
I dont use lemon juice and sugar anymore, sometimes some creamer or milk for fruit teas.
Getting in the habit of drinking tea is good for your water intake. Most people drink close to nothing ... so I believe drinking tea can make you feel better.

Re: The benifits of drinking tea
Green tea FTW ^_^ It feels like I was the only one not drinking tea. I'm really a big fan of it now though. It's going to be a life long lifestyle of mine now ^_^
Re: The benifits of drinking tea
Well, if it makes you feel any better, Andrew, I only started drinking tea a few months ago, mainly because I had stomach trouble so instead of skipping a meal altogether I started making myself some tea... and I found out I really like it!
Also, I recently tried some sort of weird, mint tea when I was in Paris... it tasted kind of strange at first, but the aftertaste was great! I don't know exactly what it was called, but it was super-yummy!

Re: The benifits of drinking tea
Ah, green tea. (That reminds me of that one commercial about white tea leaves...) It's one of the reasons why I'm happy that there's a Starbucks where I go to school, I spend about twenty dollars a week on my stupid shaken iced green teas. Every voice teacher that I've had over the years have been practically religious about drinking hot tea, but for some reason I can't drink things hot, they always have to be iced.

Re: The benifits of drinking tea
I just love tea, especially lime tea: Squeeze lime juice into a cup (the fresher the lime juice, the better.) Then pour boiling water onto the lime juice, then sweeten it with something, I prefer honey or blackberry nectar. You can add some herbs if you wish.
I just recently tried Green Tea, and to my utter surprise, I loved it!

Re: The benifits of drinking tea
...but I would trade tea for exercise, exercise is and will probably always be the best way to great benefits. People say they want to exercise, but dont have the time...
With HIIT that problem is solved, 5 minute warmup, 5-15min HIIT, 5 min warmdown, that's 15 to 25 min. And most people would benefit greatly from the 15 min.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-intensity_interval_training
But when that's said, hit is like torture compared with an ordinary 1 hour jog, but it is very effective. I've been doing hiit for 3 weeks now, three times a week, and it's very effective.

Yeah, its very good! I have never done what called Hiit, but I used to do something called Gerilja Kardio. Its only 12min. 4min4min4min -
4min worming up, jogging
4min interval (!"Torture"!)
4min cooling down
The 4min intervals consist of 8 20sec FULL SPEED RUNS -> 100% Pulse
And in between 8 10sec TOTAL RELAX(Standing still)
20-10-20-10-20-10-20-10-20-10-20-10-20-10-20-10 = 4min
Thats the hardest training I have ever done hehe

They should do this in the military, ultimate torture.
