Reminding everything Again
Hi Everybody,
Actually I haven't played Piano for more than 2 mnths (I was having Exaaaaams ) & I forgot a lot of things (Chords, Arppegios, etc ..)
So what is the best way to remind everything again ?!
(Maybe watching all Andrew's Vids. again) !!

Sit down at the piano and see what your hands can tell you.

Re: Reminding everything Again
I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, but there is never any shortcuts when it comes to learning... If you've forgotten you're simply just gonna have to re-learn it again... Although I'm sure you will learn it faster this time since youve already known it once

Re: Reminding everything Again
I'll be glad to tell you that relearning is usually easier then learning from scratch, it'll go alot faster, and the stuff you forgot will suddenly just pop up when you least expect it. Seems like memory is as sofisticated as muscle cells. When you first increase the size of a cell it'll stay increased ( it's the memory ), but the amount of proteins and stuff will decrease ( it's the connection to the memory ) if you stop exercising... It did sound good in my brain tho ^_^
I had forgotten alot after 3 months without a keyboard/piano, but it wasnt forgotten, just lost somewhere inside the brain. Took me some days to find it back again. But surprisingly, most of it was there. I had to look at the sheet at some points, but when I playd it, it was like the brain sucked it up at once.
There is only one song that I havent been able to "reconstruct", probably because this was the one that I had only been playing perfect for a couple of days.

Re: Reminding everything Again
Yep..
All of you are Right but this if I forgot a song .. so that I can remind it alone again by my sense ..
"As My mind won't accept a wrong note after saving the right song before"
But the problem is that I forgot a lot of Basics ..
Arpeggios' for ex. I can't play anyone of them now

Give the arpeggios a couple of days, and they will be as good as they was
