Can i be taught?
Hi Andrew, im throwing you my sad case, so you can recommend something!
Well, its actually not that sad
I had previous piano classes for half a year or something like that, when i was 8.
But the piano in my house became untuned (dunno if its correctly spelled(english not my first tonge), i mean it doesnt sound correclty), and since that moment till now i stopped, waiting for it to be repaired.
Now im 21, and im working to repair it because my parents did not do it, but i want so badly to begin learning....
In your opinion, can someone start learning with an untuned piano?
I was thinking to play but not to listen to my piano but instead some piano player in youtube while i was hitting the notes, and thats how i found you... but i dont know how realistic that could be in actual learning.
Whadayathin'?

Re: Can i be taught?
well, you could work your finger technique on that piano, and you could buy a very cheap keyboard to improve your ear for the intervals. ^_^ It's better to get started on SOMETHING. Also you could start learning theory, such as scales, learning to read notes, recognize intervals FAST, learning circle of fifths, etc. ^_^
There's ALWAYS something you can do.

Re: Can i be taught?
That is good to know... well, i already know a lot of music theory and notes, though the system i used to learn was starting from C, which we call "Do" in spanish, so the scale would be "Do", "Re", "Mi", "Fa", "Sol", "La", "Si"...
But i will work mostly on loose my left hand!!!
Cuz till now, it seems impossible to keep one independent from the other.
I will keep up watchin your useful classes
