Hi I'm captainAhabNZ and I am a HANONaholic, I like playing hanon more than songs... anyone else in the same boat?

Nope, hehe...

But how much do you play Hanon?? To much isnt good at all... Big injuryrisk...

but it's not my fault.....it's like a drug....each exercise seems impossible then all of a sudden BAM I can do it.......then I want another....sigh

last night i pracitced exercises 1 - 8, I think it took me an hour, I want to have learnt 1 - 10 by my next piano lesson in 5 days.

Ah... Im not sure what Andrew thinks but I say 1 hour with Hanon and no rest is a Big Injury-Risk

I only practice 21, to 26 once and no more, im very careful with practicing Hannon, thats why i always practice it once per session, but i also do thumb passing or something like that and scales so i dont exactly like to spend too much with hannon`s 5-finger exercises, 5 finger hannon exercises are very easy to learn and play in my circunstance
