Top Gear UK... Travelling in Europe ^_^
Lets face it, both Australia and USA cant make it as good as UK
I'm kinda slow, i'm still at season 10, but man, they do travel to the most incredible places when they first do and they do have great british humor. I'm going to Switzerland and Italy for sure when I get my own car and someone I can travel with. Each time I watch Top Gear I wanna travel, it's so many places on earth worth a look, and some of them not that expensive because most of them can be reach by driving a car, especially alot of places in Europe. I doubt I wanna travel to the middle east right now, but hey, it's only dust there ^_^
If you live in the US, you're sadly almost trapped in the USA, and everyone is speaking english except a few spanish speaking people. And if you live in Canada all you see is the same as in Norway, woods and mountains... Kinda boring when you live there, even if it can be exciting for people not used to environment like that. Like African people that never have seen snow, it's like WOW, but it's nothing more than usual for me.
But the bad thing about Europe? We have so many languages, you dont need to go far before they speak another language, I live half an hour from Sweden, but atleast swedish and danish isnt that hard to understand. But weird as it is danish and german are quite different, german and switz are quite similare, but italian and spanish is way to foreign, and then becomes very hard to understand, and french is a joke. And then you got finnish, that's nothing like swedish at all. And most of the countries can be reach by plane withing 1-3 hours. That's the stupid thing about Europe... You can travel with plane or watch a movie on tv, but the fact is that Europe is filled with unessecary many languages.
I think traveling with a car is a great thing to do instead of plane, you see alot more, you can stop when you want, you have much more freedom, and with the new bridge from Sweden to Denmark ( not exactly new ) it's easy access to the rest of Europe.
My goal is to see most of the countries in Europe before I get any kids, if I ever get... Still a long time before I'm 30+
( This topic was actually going to be about how great Top Gear UK is, but instead ended up with everything else, it's like improvised writing, you dont know where you'll end up )
