Hello everyone
Hi everyone! My name is John and I'm from Arkansas, USA. I'm 31 years old and I've just begun learning piano seriously. I'm watching Andrew's videos on YouTube and loving it. My goal is to go through all of the videos and practice regularly. If I make it through the videos and I have really improved then I'll purchase a good quality digital piano and begin taking piano lessons from a teacher here in my area. I hope I can do it! Well anyway, nice to meet you all and look forward to taking the journey with you!

Re: Hello everyone
To get some self motivation...
If you do practice, you can do this, but you'll have to practice a little bit everyday.
Better with 15-20min per day, than 2 hours each sunday...

I love these vids! Thanks for posting them. Right now I'm just working on getting my hands to cooperate with one another playing the C major scale up and down. I've only gotten to the 6th of Andrew's videos so far. It's going very well though. I practice about an hour a day, broken up during the day. I'm planning on increasing that and making the times more uniform.
What brand piano is that in the vids? I'm shopping around for what digital piano I should buy. Right now I"m just using my trusty Roland XP-10. Great little vintage 61 key synth for controlling Reason or what have you, but obviously not the greatest for learning piano!
