Cant Record For A While :(

Unfortunatly, I was going to record a few short, simple, funny songs to start building up my youtube profile again. But I cant

The microphone I normally use, the one with the best quality, no longer has a cable that works. Its been used to much and the cable right near the connector split and the copper wire is tearing making the sound scratchy

I can't go out and buy a new awesome steel plated connector, 3 metre cable because my parents bought a 42" plasma which set us back a bit ...

P.S. Im also thinking of getting a mixer, so I can have 3 microphones so youd get the stereo room effect.
I'm having audio lessons as part of my options at school, and going to learn parts of recording instruments (e.g. piano ) the positioning of the mics etc. Cant wait!

Sounds cool!!! (all the exciting stuff that is ) Well, hopefully you can get your mic soon! That class on audio at school sounds really really interesting, I wish I could take it with you.
