How often to tune?
Well, I have a Yamaha upright piano that hasn't been tuned for quite some time now, and I'm thinking around the 8 year range. My mother refuses to pay for tuning, so I'll be saving up some cash to do so, but I hear that I might need the pitch raised as well? Also my damper pedal squeeks. Is there a check off chart of yearly things i should do for my piano?

Re: How often to tune?
In the beginning it is important to tune every 6-8 months. Then after a couple of years, its okay to tune every year. =)
