Learning Materials (Books)
In one of the earlier lessons Andrew encourages his users to purchase a book; by the time I saw this I had all ready purchased "The Piano Handbook" I haven't done much with it yet but it seems to be a little more advanced then some of the other books I've seen. I think it's meant to be an all in one reference rather then a series which in turn condenses the information into almost reference like tutorials which at times makes it a little difficult to understand, does anyone have any opinions about it?

Re: Learning Materials (Books)
I started to learn from Nancy and Randall Faber's Adult Piano Adventures All in One with an accompaniment cd... and I m absolutely satistified with it... it doesnt want to dump all the theory on you and it goes step by step so I think that is ideal for an adult learner.
I especially like the accompaniment cd because I dont know most of the songs in the book ( or just dont recognize it from the sheet music) and it also helps to get the timing right after I analized the notes.

You could try Alfred's Adult Beginner courses. They start with the basics and gradually get advanced.
I use Czerny's Op. 599 to practice sight-reading.
